| Am 27. September 1998 begann Radio Caroline mit sonntäglichen Sendungen zwischen 10 und 18 Uhr aus dem Studio von EKR und über die Satellitenfrequenz von EKR. Während Caroline nach dem Ende der Satellitenprogramme über MNO so wieder europaweit empfangen werden konnte, hoffte EKR durch die Einnahmen aus dem Verkauf der Sendezeit weiter überleben zu können. | Radio Caroline started broadcasting between 10am and 6pm every sunday from the studios of EKR and via the satellite channel of EKR on September 27th 1998. While Caroline again was able to reach an european-wide listenership - following the cancellation of the programmes via MNO - EKR hoped to prolong it's life with the income generated by renting out airtime. | ||

 In der Sendung vom 27.12.1998 ist Stationsmanager Peter Moore (hinten) zu Gast bei Johnny Lewis (im roten Hemd) und berichtet über die Zukunftspläne von Radio Caroline und beantwortet Hörerfragen. |  On December 27th 1998 station manager Peter Moore (behind desk) is taking part in the programme. During Johnny Lewis' show (with red shirt) he tells about the plans for the future and answers questions from listeners. |
 Steve Conway ist einer der langjährigen Mitstreiter bei Caroline der für diese Satellitensendungen Grundig als potenten Werbepartner gewinnen konnte. Auf dem Foto rechts ist im Hintergrund Dave Foster zu erkennen. |  Steve Conway, with Dave Foster in the background, was responsible for securing Grundig as a sponsor for the satellite-transmissions. |
 Nigel Harris ist ein weiterer altbekannter Caroline-Name. Er hatte viel Spaß während seiner Sendung und David Foster (rechts im Bild) war daran nicht ganz unschuldig. |  Nigel Harris (with David Foster taking over some of above picture) is another well known name to the Caroline listeners. Both of them had lots of fun during the show. |

| Johnny Lewis, Steve Conway, David Foster und Nigel Harris waren nur einige der Caroline Mitarbeiter die ich während meines Besuches am 27.12. antraf. Alle waren voller Pläne und guter Hoffnung für die Zukunft. Leider beendete EKR eine Woche später seine Programme, so daß dies die vorletzte Sendung von Caroline war. | Johnny Lewis, Steve Conway, David Foster and Nigel Harris were only a few of the people working for Caroline I was able to meet during my visit on Dec. 27th. Everybody was full of plans and hopes for the future. Sadly EKR closed down one week later so that this was the second last show of Caroline. |
